The Process

Step 1

We have negotiated group rates in the least expensive & non-published room category, ‘Run of House,’ or ROH for short. ROH rooms do not allow any type of room requests. ROH rooms may be located across the street and may not have any particular type of view. If you wish to have a room with a view, be located beachside, or have concierge/butler service, please see below, or contact us for additional pricing.

Step 2

Fill out Vacation Vibes Travel BOOKING FORM →

If you are ready to confirm, please click on the secure BOOKING FORM to fill out required field. Please be sure to fill in the room type; ROH (or the name of the room category if you wish to book a different room type). Upon receipt of the BOOKING FORM, credit cards will be charged within approximately 72 business hours (Business hours: Tue-Fri). If you prefer to call your card in, please fill out booking form and CALL 402-475-2157 with your card number. 

Step 3

We contact you!
After your card is charged, you will receive an invoice that requires a digital signature approval. The invoice MUST be signed by one person per room for the booking to be fully confirmed. If the invoice is not signed/approved, we are required to cancel your booking. You will receive notification that we have not received your signed invoice prior to cancellation.

Step 4

As a reminder, we do not book individual air for groups. Since 2020, there have been MANY airline changes, and we strongly suggest that you book directly with the airline and not via a 3rd party. If you experience flight issues during travel, you will be helped immediately at the airport ONLY if you booked directly through the airline. See below for air details.

Step 5

Final Payment is due April 1 2024
Beginning on Midnight on the final payment date, your balance will be charged to the same credit card you used to make your deposit. If you wish to change your form of payment, you must notify us at least seven (7) days prior to your final payment date.

Step 6

Receive Travel Documents (ApproxiMATELy 2-3 weeks prior to travel). 
Approximately three (3) weeks prior to travel, you will receive your travel documents via our Vacation Vibes Travel Plans App. If you prefer paper documents, these can be sent upon request.

PRICING & INFO:

Sandals Ochi Beach is an adult-only couples resort, and rooms include one king bed only (rollaway beds are very limited and cannot be guaranteed). The maximum occupancy is two (2) adults per room, and all rooms are priced based on double occupancy. There is no price reduction for single occupancy.
Sandals includes all food, drinks, most water sports, transfers to/from the airport, and has a no-tipping policy (with the exception of spa treatments, cabana rentals, and butler service).
This resort has hillside rooms, known as the Manor side of the property, and beachside rooms, known as the Riviera side of the property. Manor (hillside) rooms have an open-air jitney that runs daily and takes 3-5 minutes to get to the beach. There are restaurants and pools on both the Manor and Riviera sides, and guests will have access to both sides of the property.

Pricing & Payment Due Dates:
  • 1st payment/deposit-***EXTENDED: Now Nov 30, 2023***$200 per room (plus the second deposit).
  • 2nd payment -50% of the room rate- Due Nov. 30, 2023
  • 3rd/remaining balance is due April 1st, 2024.

 

Cancel/Change Policy:

  • Once booked the $200.00 per room deposit is non refundable. One free change until Nov. 30, additional changes are $100.00 per person
  • After Nov. 30 the 1st and 2nd payment are non refundable and all changes are $100.00 per person.
  • After April. 1st the entire hotel portion is non refundable and all changes are $100.00 per person.
  • No changes allowed 30 days prior or less prior to travel.
  • Cancel penalties are not waived by vendors, even in serious/unforseen circumstances (because they know each person has the option of travel insurance).
Travel Insurance:
*Travel Insurance is not included in the pricing above but is strongly recommended. Click HERE for more info (or note it on your booking form)
  • Travel Insurance will not include a cash refund on air tickets (when canceling for a covered reason prior to travel). If you book Main Cabin (or anything except Basic Economy), MOST airlines will allow you to use an air credit on a future flight.
  • Insurance will cover baggage delay, trip delay, and other components of your air during travel.

Airfare:
*Airfare is not included in the pricing above.

    • We recommend that you book your air directly on the airline’s website. Using a 3rd party vendor such as Expedia and online booking sites other than the airline website are NOT recommended.
    • Since 2020, there have been MANY airline changes, and we strongly suggest that you book directly with the airline and not via a 3rd party. If you experience flight issues during travel, you will be helped immediately at the airport ONLY if you booked directly through the airline. If you book via a 3rd party, you will be directed to contact the vendor you booked with to handle any issues. When this happens, you lose valuable time and access to available space. For this reason, we no longer book individual air for groups as we would hinder your access to assistance during travel.
    • We strongly advise downloading your airline’s app as soon as you book your flights. This will give you immediate updates in the event of schedule and gate changes.
    • We recommend that you do NOT book a Basic Economy ticket and instead book Main Cabin fares. Basic Economy will NOT allow ANY changes once booked.
    • The airport you will fly into is MBJ (Montego Bay, Jamaica) and is located approximately 1 hour 45 minutes from the resort. We do not recommend flying into KIN (Kingston, Jamaica) unless you are familiar with travel in the country.
    • Upon return, you will depart from the resort 4-5 hours prior to your return flight time (approximate ground transfer time is 1 hour 45 minutes). You may want to consider booking a later departure flight.
    • Transportation to/from the airport is included in the hotel pricing. We must have ALL flight information by April 15th in order to notify the resort of your complimentary airport transfers.

Required Documentation:
  • A valid US Passport Book (NOT Passport Card) is required for all US citizens to travel to Jamaica. Your passport must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond your return date.
  • The Passport office is extremely behind and can take up to 9 months for new passport applications and renewals. If you do not apply for/renew your passport right away, you may be required to expedite your passport for an additional fee.
  • Vacation Vibes & vendors arenot responsible for waiving cancel penalties due to passports being denied.
  • If you are a convicted felon, you must have permission from the Jamaican Government to enter the country, or you could be denied entry. Vacation Vibes Travel can give you the contact for the Jamaican Consular, but we are unable to provide legal advice
